ConEd power failure causes massive subway delays

This morning, a Con Edison power failure at DeKalb Avenue in Brooklyn caused massive delays for the morning’s commute.

The failure effectively halted service on the B, D, N, Q, and R subway lines. A similar incident occurred two days, and also significantly disrupted many New Yorkers. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo called upon the MTA to investigate the issue, and for ConEd to propose “real & improved response plan”, to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
